  • League of Legends, GTA V, Overwatch, Minecraft, Fortnite and other games that are fever around

  • Redaction GLAMOUR
Hello, you who are obsessed with games or are curious about the subject, but don't know where to start, look out! A ranking released by SuperData Research, one of the main market intelligence companies, with data from the Overwolf app, monitored the total number of active players in a given month and showed which are the most popular PC games in the world. Here, we explain a little more about each of them.

League of Legends

It doesn't matter if you want to spend time alone or with friends, the game developed by Riot Games is fast-paced, requires strategy and is perfect for those who like competitiveness. Players are divided into classes and face the role of "summoners", with unique abilities in each game. League of Legends has become one of the great movers of e-sports (organized competitions of electronic games), with championship finals shown by sports channels.

Hearthstone

If you're a card fan, the game created by Blizzard Entertainment may be all about your style and the best part: it's free. Hearthstone is strategic for fans of the Warcraft world and, despite being with decks (which makes us believe it's kind of stopped, right?), the game is agitated with its various possible combinations.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S

It is a multiplayer game from Battlegrounds Bluehole Studio. In the game, which can have up to a hundred players, everyone parachutes onto an island looking for weapons and equipment to kill enemies and try to survive at the same time.

Fortnite Battle Royale

Created by Epic Games, the free title popularized the battle royale format. In it, players fall into an environment and need to gather equipment to build structures and protect themselves. The cool thing is that it is possible to break materials to build new ones. The map reduces in size throughout the game and, in the end, one player is left against the other, until only one winner remains.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Even if you don't understand anything about the gaming world, you've heard that name around. This is the fourth franchise of Counter Strike, a game from Valve Corporation. The game was released in 2012 and has gained a number of updates since then. In 2018, the game became free and won a battle royale mode.

Minecraft

Even if you don't understand anything about the gaming world, you've heard that name around. This is the fourth franchise of Counter Strike, a game from Valve Corporation. The game was released in 2012 and has gained a number of updates since then. In 2018, the game became free and won a battle royale mode.

Overwatch

This is a classic for those who like to play in groups and in the spirit of cooperativism. Created by Blizzard Entertainment, the game consists of team shooting matches for a future worth fighting for. Each player has their abilities and roles within the team.

Rainbow Six: Siege

In a sense of realism and teamwork, the players are members of the Raibown anti-terrorist team and must face the enemy, The White Masks. Ubisoft Entertainment's game calls for a lot of cooperation because the characters have different nationalities, skills and equipment.

World of Warcraft

This is one of the biggest games in the MMORPGs genre, which is the union between the so-called "Massively Multiplayer Online Game" and RPG (Character Roleplaying Game). Created by Blizzard Entertainment, the story takes place in the fantastic world of Azeroth, where players use their characters to slay monsters, carry out quests, get magic items and level up. All this with the aim of transforming you into the true living legend of the place.

GTA V

It is the seventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series and was created by Rockstar Games. The saga takes place in the city of San Andreas with three criminal protagonists who carry out robberies and missions under pressure from a government agency. This game is an icon that crosses generations, and has a huge legion of fans.

If it was my top... this maybe, because I was born in the 80s.

I Would choose games like Sonic, SuperMario, Street Fighter, Pokémon, Football Manager, Age of Empires & Unreal Tournament.

Analog games can be a big help in coping with the days of social isolation.

The days of social isolation accumulate and, at times, boredom takes over their free time, especially for those who have children at home. With that in mind, we've selected 15 board and card games to get away from technology and reduce stress at this confusing time. Ah, there are options for all tastes, even for those who live alone.

Chess

Chess is a world sport, also considered an art and a science. It can be classified as a recreational or competitive board game for two players and is also known as Western Chess or International Chess to distinguish it from its predecessors and other current variants. The current form of the game emerged in southwestern Europe in the second half of the 15th century, during the Renaissance, after having developed from its ancient Persian and Indian origins.

Monopólio

The American classic created in 1932 is one of the best-selling board games in the world. Here, you must have a keen nose for business! The game makes its players (from 2 to 6 participants) the owners of properties, neighborhoods and businesses. Having said that, every time the opponent lands on one of your lands, he will pay you an amount. In this way, the objective of the game is, of course, not to go broke and own it all...

Deck of cards

Who has never wasted hours playing Donkey, Swedish, Bisca, Fishing, Pit, Battle, Solitaire... There are so many card games that it's hard to list them all. So, gather the family in the living room and enjoy the set of cards that spanned generations and never go out of style!

UNO

It's easy to get started... It's really hard to stop playing! As one of the most popular card games in the world, it's almost impossible that you've never waited for the right moment to mess up your opponent with +4 or blocking cards. It can be played by people of all ages, the aim is to be the first to get rid of your 7 cards. Oh, not to forget that when you only have one card in your hand, you need to shout "UNO!"

Image and action

The game brings together guesswork and a lot of creativity. Players must be divided into teams - a minimum of two, a maximum of four. The rule is that each participant will need to draw a word or phrase for opponents to try to get it right. Attentive: it is forbidden to speak, mime writing letters and numbers.

Sagrada

And who said that there is no board game for those who live alone? In the Sagrada game there are rules that allow you to have fun in your own company, or with 3 other people. It is an artistic competition to create the most perfect stained glass of the Sagrada Familia, which will be part of the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Players score based on public and personal goals. After 10 rounds, whoever scores the most wins.

EXIT

Another one you can play alone without losing the fun is EXIT. In this game you need to have team spirit, creativity and an instinct for investigation to discover codes, solve puzzles, collect objects and conquer freedom. With this, you can challenge yourself to unravel everything on your own. The market offers several versions of the game, that is, you can choose the one that best suits your personality.

Dobble

No wonder Dobble is among the best selling games on Amazon, it's fast and incredibly fun! Each game is less than 15 minutes long, and consists of 55 cards that have 8 symbols, there is always a single symbol in common between two cards. So the aim is for you to find it before your opponents. Depending on the rules chosen, you can get rid of your cards, deliver cards to your opponents, or even steal cards from them.

Detective

If you are passionate about criminal and mysterious investigations, this game was made for you! Here, the participants are detectives who need to be quick to unravel a case, find out who the killer is, what weapon he used and where the crime took place. The narrator needs to detail it for the participants to find out. But the biggest difficulty is that each one has a unique and unusual image, unlike anything you've ever seen!

TRIVIAL PURSUIT

The objective is simple: test the players' knowledge in the History, Geography, Art, Literature, Sport, Leisure, Entertainment and Science and Nature categories. Whoever manages to join the 6 cheeses (one per category) wins. Be a master of knowledge, a classic game not to be missed.

 Azul

In this contemporary board game the aesthetic sense is very important. Players compete as artisans, decorating the walls of the wonderful Royal Palace of Évora in Portugal. In each match, participants must choose tiles to cover the wall shown on the board, following specific rules. Whoever gets the most points wins. The game ends after at least one player completes a horizontal row of 5 consecutive tiles on his wall.

Also, if you are looking for a more affordable game, this is the most suitable, it is available to be printed in a more affordable version. What were the great logistical empires like in their beginnings?

Every company starts with an idea that most would give up because they think it's "crazy". But its creators decided to take a step, whether starting in a garage or through a mini venture or office. Stones stand in the way, difficulties and failures are law, but all these are just steps to success. After all, as Edison would say: "I didn't fail, I found 10,000 solutions that didn't work."

Next, you'll see how the great business-empires we know today began their journeys. Check it out below:

7 - Amazon (1999)

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos left his job as vice president of D. E. Shaw & Co., a Wall Street firm, to try to create a brand for himself in the Internet business boom. Bezos started a company in his garage that he called "Corpse".

But a few months later, when he heard a lawyer mispronounce the name, he decided to change it. The new name was Amazon, which he chose because it was a place that was "exotic and different". It started as an online bookstore, but gradually became the store we all know today.

6 - Taco Bell (1962)

Glen Bell is his name and tacos is his game. Every legendary product was born from an innovative individual with a great idea. Think of all the famous scientists and inventors in the world. Sure, these geniuses did things like invent electricity or revolutionize the telephone, but there's another innovation we really couldn't live without - the Taco Bell ®.

Although he didn't invent the taco, he played a big part in bringing the delicious, crunchy, cheese-filled taco you know and love straight into the mouth of the pasta.

Want to know more? Let's look at some facts you may not know about our late founder: First came the hamburgers... Then came the tacos. Glen first served tacos at one of his first restaurants, which actually sold hamburgers and hot dogs. He knew there was something special about the putter. After improving assembly line efficiency, he figured out how to get the putter from production to first bite in minutes. He ended up serving tacos at a taco stand called Taco Tia.

Its restaurants attracted people in high positions. Its location in Redlands Taco Tia was always growing with celebrities and high profile athletes.

Celebrities are like us - they love their fair share of tacos.

He knew how to throw a big party. Glen embodied the "work hard, play hard" mentality during Taco Bell's early days. Your favorite kind of party? A grand opening, of course. His parties were so extravagant they were compared to the World's Fair. Glen would do anything to make sure it was an unforgettable party, including spotlights, bands, dancers, free hats - you name it.

He was often caught climbing the roofs of his buildings to make sure the balloons were in the correct position. Glen originally planned to open a miniature golf course. Before clubs were even in his mind, Glen dreamed of one thing: mini golf.

As he surveyed the location of the Bell's first Burgers, his mind flooded with visions of families gathering around small bridges and buildings as they dropped colored golf balls. But he fulfilled his dream of creating a family attraction. If there's one thing that was true about Glen, it's that as soon as he laid eyes on a dream, he went after it. Years after imagining a magical place for families to gather, he restored and reopened the Westside & Cherry Valley Railway in Northern California, which he turned into a museum that showcased vintage trains and cars. The museum operated for a year.

Glen Bell daily saw long lines of customers outside a Mexican restaurant located across the street from where he sold hot dogs. Inspired, he reverse-engineered the Mexican restaurant's hot recipes, albeit with a little help from his owners, who let him see how the tacos were made.

He then opened a new "stand" selling tacos in 1951-1952, which he later sold before opening a restaurant called Taco Bell in 1964. In 1967, the company quickly expanded and opened its 100th restaurant.

5 - Harley-Davidson (1903)

When, in 1901, the motorcycle that the Davidson brothers developed as amateurs could not climb the hills without the aid of pedals around Milwaukee, USA, they, along with their friend William S. Harley, started working on a new one from scratch. and improved machine.

The new prototype was mounted in a trapdoor in the Davidson family's backyard. In 1906, Harley and the Davidson brothers opened their first factory and produced about 50 motorcycles that year. The business was so successful that it was one of only two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression.

4 - Walmart (1962)

In 1945, businessman Sam Walton opened a store that sold products at low prices to get a higher volume of sales with a smaller profit margin. He portrayed his mission as an opportunity for consumers to pay the lowest prices.
However, due to the high lease prices, he ran into a stumbling block. Not giving up for a single flaw, Walton ended up opening a new store and called it Walton's Five and Dime. The first Walmart Discount City Store opened in 1962 and, within five years, expanded to 24 stores and achieved $12.6 million in sales. Today, Walmart is the world's largest company by revenue and the world's largest private employer, with 2.2 million employees.

3 - Burger King (1953)

After visiting the McDonald brothers' original store, Keith J. Kramer and his wife's uncle, Matthew Burns, opened their first restaurant in 1953 and named it Insta-Burger King.
When the company ran into financial difficulties in 1954 with its two Miami-based franchisees, David Edgerton and James McLamore bought and renamed the company Burger King. As of December 31, 2018, Burger King reported having more than 17,500 points of sale in 100 countries.

2 - Coca-Cola (1912)

American pharmacist John Stith Pemberton invented the drink in the late 19th century as an over-the-counter drug. However, shortly before his death in 1888, Pemberton sold his rights to the drink to American businessman and pharmacist Asa Griggs Candler for $1,750.

The figure may have seemed big to him at the time, given that he was nearly broke and in poor health, but little did he know that the company he founded would one day become iconic and worth billions of dollars.

1 - Ford (entre 1900-1921)

Henry Ford left home at an early age and worked as an apprentice at some auto companies until he was promoted to the position of chief engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit in 1893. Cars at that time were considered the toys of the rich, but Ford believed they could mass produce cars and make them accessible to everyone. To fulfill his dream, he founded the Detroit Automobile Company in 1899, which was renamed the Henry Ford Company in 1901.

As is often the case with first-time entrepreneurs, he also had to face failures and leave the company. Without losing his motivation, he became one of the founders of the company we all know today as the Ford Motor Company. And yes, he managed to make cars affordable.
